Seriousness

What is the feeling of being all in on something? What is the feeling of committing yourself completely to a task or mission?

Imagine you had ten minutes of down time, how would you like to spend those precious seconds?  What wouldn’t feel like work?

Seriousness is evident when one has a an internal desire to do something regardless of any outcome.

The serious person knows they want to do something regardless of their environment. When they act, they act from a place of already having done the thing.  

The physical action is just a formality. When a serious person acts it’s not from a checklist or how to. The action is an exploration of the truth about the thing he is doing.

What are the core principles of the endeavor he is pursuing?

A serious man does not want to be told what or how to do it. He doesn’t want to be told anything. He pursues the task from the lens of understanding. He wants to understand the core of the task that lies in front of him.

In this way, the serious man seeks the truth of the thing that lies in front him.
