Deep Explorations

Nature

Nature is the way the world works. It’s a conglomeration of truth, practices, and wisdom that describes how things work.

The nature of clouds is to drop rain. The nature of dogs, is to bark. The nature of man is to act in accordance of his strongest desire.

Is science nature? Some components of it are.

Studying how something is, how it works, creates a deeper understanding of that thing.

The distinction between nature and intellectualism is one I wish to make.  This is the puddle that I wish to explore. Intellectualism is a development of labels, constructs, stereotypes, and euphorisms that act as mental models.

The Mind uses these pre-fabricated words and phrases to ponder over and bin whatever it perceives.
It wishes to call one an extrovert or introvert. It wishes to assign one an archetype.

One can label themselves as emotionally intelligent or having a high emotional quotient. These are all ailments of the imagination of the mind. It uses these labels to entertain itself. These constructs prevent the mind from seeing what’s actually in front of it. It’s a heuristic shortcut that prevents one from truly seeing someone else or themselves for who they truly are or the reality of the situation.

When nature made a person, it did not delineate between introvert or extrovert. We are just as we are.
Nature didn’t create one to have a certain love language, to be a narcissist or an empath.

These are all labels that we use to describe other people, without seeing their nuances, their subtleties.

When we learn to see nature for nature, it is easy to become aware of its subtleties, its ridges, its strengths and its weaknesses.  We see the person, place or thing exactly as it is.

Nature is inherently imperfect. Viewing the trees in the Amazon is a beautiful sight. Yet walking on the ground, in between the beetles, decaying trees, and animal feces, you see the not so pleasant side of the Amazon. The two must live together. They must be appreciated together. This is viewing nature in its complexity. This is observing nature as it is.

People are not examined in this way. Either their strengths or weaknesses are highlighted. Their stats are touted, but their true nature is never examined.

To take a person, famous or not, as whole, with all their strengths and imperfections, allows one to see the human behind the mask of the stage. For once, you see the person just as they are.
