Deep Explorations

Undercurrent

Between all the temporary world pleasures available in the world, the distractions, and desire for half truths, it may seem the world has no appetite for the truth.
How can you sell something without a demand for it?

A step that is often taken by revered men is to repackage the truth in religion, in music, entertainment, and comedy. Weaved through all the major religions of the world are prescriptions that have a tendency to lead one to a certain kind of life.

Rarely, intertwined in the books and intellectualization are real truths that can transform a man. These are far and few in between and they are not examined directly. The natural occurrence is that they are almost often missed. Music, entertainment, comedy, too intertwine universal truths. In fact, it seems that the ancient truths often resonate with moviegoers. Because these truths are not examined directly, they’re missed for the plot and the fluff of the movie. Take, for example, the Bene Gesserit from the movie Dune. With intention, they become aware of every muscle in their body and can contract each one with great control. Lady Jessica practices manual medicine on the duke to help him sleep, just like osteopathic medicine. They tap into the knowledge of the universe through something they call other memory. They use the voice, which can be experienced when one is in flow state and can understand the person in front of them. Knowing what to say and how to say it is a natural occurrence once you see reality. They strategically use a man-made religious construct to influence an entire planet to fight for their interest.

For the Jedi, in the Star Wars series, the force is simply Pranayama. Their ability to learn quickly, assess the situation accurately, and act instinctively comes from a place of no mind. The mind is the source of anxiety, desire, and expectation. With the mind off, you see as clearly as physiologically possible. There is no filter between your eyes and the brain that converts the electrical activity into perception. The Jedi have trained their intuition to know when something is off. They can feel the shifts in the universe and know when to hone their attention. This awareness is known by many grandmasters when they submit to their craft. An master physician can walk into a patient room and know that they have minutes to act. Its not about the vitals on the monitors, its the awareness of the subtilties of the situation. Its what they call gestalt or intuition.

Comedy has become one of the most popular forms of interwoven truth. Through satire, one can identify the hypocrisies. In between the punchlines, when the audience is laughing, the truth can be slipped in. While this may be entertaining, it is not direct truth. The mind of the masses will not see the truth. What they will remember is the plot and the emotions they felt.

Direct truth as it is explored here is extremely uncommon. There is no religion in these parts, no entertainment, no prescription. One question pervades these discussions. Without a demand of truth, why was this written? Without an audience, what is the purpose of this text?
This was written because the universe intended it. There is no societal reward or corporate sponsorship.

It was simply written because it had to be written.
