The Pitfalls of Studying the Masses

What is the value of studying the masses? What are the masses?

The masses are a blanket term that is used to describe a population, a society.

In these discussions, I wish to challenge everything in every way. If I examine what is happening to the people in my community, I get an idea of just that. That is not a personal examination of what is happening to me. Nor is their outcome a predictor of mine, unless oncourse, I act just as they are.

When one becomes tied to what’s happening with the masses, one does not examine the exceptions to the rule.
 
Who is the exception to the rule? The one who walks a path separate from the masses.
The one who can walk their own path, find a way that works uniquely to them.

They have a chance to surpass the masses.
They can find the backdoor routes, the path not traveled on, which will take them to the top.

In this way, the study of the masses is not relevant to one’s personal journey.

In certain contexts, studying the masses does reveal trends. It reveals the current experience of the masses
and where their attention currently lies.
