Deep Explorations

By Dr Bae

Can you become enlightened without becoming a monk?

I wish to start this exploration by stating as simply as possible, that I’m a humble truth seeker in the world of enlightenment. I have felt what is described as nirvana, enlightenment, peace, bliss, the universe.
I return home to share this journey with you.
What is interesting is that I never left home.

In fact in the last few years I was in medical training/residency, and through that time experienced enlightenment. I don’t have a single robe, I have never performed a pooja or enchantment, I did to not require psychedelics, no bodie trees, or self-mutilation.

On the outside I’m seen as a doctor, inside, I am nothing. I can become whatever I need to become, but in most moments, I am nothing. I do nothing exceptionally well, except I have a sincere desire to explore the truth. I humbly stand before you to say, no prerequisites needed to start the journey to peace. Once on the path, you may rid yourself of many of the world’s pleasures, but that would be an organic action. It will happen before your eyes because it felt like the next natural step. In the seeking of enlightenment, you will be transformed to a place where enlightenment comes to find you. You don’t need to leave your house or don holy attire.

Enlightenment can find you exactly how you are today.
