Otherworldly knowledge of the universe
Occasionally we experience or witness an otherworldly performance. A performance that stands out, far above what we’re accustomed to seeing or experiencing.
We often see otherworldly success in sport, because it’s so easily understandable and often recorded.
These are great performances that truly impress spectators. The performances are often seen in music and film. Art that hits just the right way, in all the right places. When we experience otherworldliness in ourselves, we are shocked. How did we do that?
The secret to this otherworldly success lies in the availability of it. There are moments in our life where we enter the zone and lose ourselves in the craft. In these moments, it’s not us or I that drives our physical body.
The mind turns off, yet the body continues to perform.
There may be a natural inclination that’s built into our body. But where is that natural inclination? And what guides that inclination?
The moments where the next steps feel natural to you, even if they’re new steps into an unknown place are the moments of otherworldly possibility.
When your mind is off and you’re acting from instinct and intuition, you have a chance to access a knowledge that is available in the universe, but in an unknown location. When that knowledge comes to you it’s a natural step forward. In a direction that you’re not used to, a place you’ve never been.
This is the secret of the universe. This is where unbelievable feats live.
Is there effort and repeated struggling that leads up to these moments? Very commonly.
Those are building the foundations, to become available to access the sky, to flow into the realm you’ve never been in before – and excel in it – to experience the feeling of otherworldliness.
What does it mean to become available? One becomes available, when they begin to remove all the barriers that stand in their path. When you remove all the barriers what you’re left with, is the thing you seek.
In many ways, when you remove the barriers to something, you naturally become attractive to the thing to come to you.
An understanding of the knowledge of the universe, the ultimate knowledge, naturally causes one to fall out of love with the pursuit of being smart. The one who desires to be smart, is almost always acting from insecurity about not being smart.
We see this often in people. Humans don’t talk about things they intimately know about. We don’t talk about driving, for example. Many people know how to drive. Talking about braking and turning the steering wheel is not interesting. We already know it.
When physicians sit together, they don’t talk about physical exams or interpreting films. They discuss trends in healthcare or patient stories. Things that are outside their realm of intimate knowledge, but are within their periphery. When they talk about politics, they parrot what they say on TV, to sound like they know something.
Once you understand, all that you want to understand, your desire to talk about it will diminish.
You know what you want to know, deep in your bones. You don’t have to speak about it.
Accessing the knowledge of the universe, naturally eliminates the desire to pontificate.
You act with the guidance of the universe, when it’s time to act. This is otherworldly success.
